We explicitly prohibit our AI agents from making direct outgoing phone calls, thereby eliminating the risks associated with indistinguishable AI voice communications and potential telemarketing abuses. This strategic approach not only enhances cost-effectiveness and efficiency but also ensures adherence to legal and regulatory standards, including those set forth by our communication technology providers - such as Twilio's - messaging policies. By focusing exclusively on text-based interactions—excluding large-scale marketing campaigns— and text-first voice-communications, we provide a robust solution that meets the communication needs of our customers while upholding the highest standards of compliance and integrity. We don’t want to freak people out.

2. Responsibility for Compliance

Our customers are responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from their clients prior to initiating any communications through our platform. This includes full compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography And Marketing (CAN-SPAM) Act, and any other relevant federal or state regulations.
